Vintage 1950’s 5x7 double weight portrait photo, signed “Gratefully, Frank Lovejoy” in green ink. One small handling bend top border, not noticeable when viewed head on, otherwise very fine. Usually played a detective, street cop or reporter. Memorable in, Humphrey Bogart's 1950 film, "In a Lonely Place". His best role may have been in the 1953 film Noir, "The Hitchhiker". Died of a heart attack, in 1962 at age 50. Uncommon in signed images.
