Black fountain pen signature and inscription on a cream 3x5 card. This card was tipped onto a larger album page with a collectors notation as being received on Saturday, October 4, 1930.The larger sheet has a print image of Lillian Roth adhered to the page.
Comes w/ an original 1954 7x9 press photo of Lillian doing publicity for release of her autobiography, "I'll Cry Tomorrow". Her book became the basis of a hit film of the same title the following year, starring Susan Hayward, who was nominated for an Academy Award.
The photo is very fine with glue and paper remnants on verso.
