Lily Pons – 7 ½ x 10 ½ Seven-page benefit concert program, dating to March 25, 1940. The concert was staged to benefit aid to France after they had entered World War II.
The star performer was French born, operatic soprano, Lily Pons. Also on the bill are pianist George Copeland and Serge Koussevitzky directing the Boston Symphony orchestra.
Signed on the program cover by Lily Pons, in black fountain pen. Very fine with glue remnant on the upper left corner from a previous mounting.
