Mara Corday “B” Picture Cult Star. Oct. 23, 1950, Blue ink signature and inscription on a 4 x 5 ½ pink sheet.
1950 is extremely early in her career, which didn’t take off in “B” pictures until her role in “Tarantula” in 1955. This was signed as she was appearing in a west coast stage production of “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes” at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. The naturally brunette Corday briefly dyed her hair blonde for the part.
The signed page is very fine with one small glue stain to the left of the inscription. Glue remnants are also apparent on verso of the page. Comes with a modern 4x6 print photo.
