2 3/8 x 4 – 1947 school students hall pass, signed on the verso by Eddie Anderson. Eddie has signed, as he was his usual, using just his character name, “Rochester”. Signed in black steel tip pen. Small edge cracking to the left side of the pass, well away from the signature. Typical age-related toning. The pass is Hand-stamped, “Apr. 17, 1947” and “McKinley High School, Nellie Marie Quinn Principal”.
Comes with an original 1945 Double weight 8 ¼ x 10 still from the film, “The Sailor Takes a Wife”. Typed publicity blurb on verso, labels the film as “John and Mary”. This must have been the early working title of the film. The photo is very fine.
