June 28, 1969 - 2 ¾ x 6 ¼ green personal check paying New York Telephone Company $30.56. Signed by Greta Garbo in black marker. One black bank handstamp impinges on the “G” of Greta. New York Telephone deposit stamp on verso. Bank hole punch perforations just clear the top of the signature.
Comes with a circa 1960’s 7 ½ x 9 ¼ glossy reprint still from the 1931 film, “Mata Hari”, which was Garbo’s most commercially successful film. Overall, a very fine pairing for display.
