8 ½ x 11 - two-page agreement, dated to January 6, 1950. Between John Huston and director Robert Wyler. (Robert Wyler is the older brother of director, William Wyler)
Wyler is transferring his rights to author Yves Mirande’s play, “L’Arpete”, which in 1935 was the basis for the film, “It Happened in Paris”.
Huston was a contributor to the original screenplay. Wyler, along with Carol Reed, were the films directors. Signed on page two by both Wyler and Huston.
Both sheets are stapled to a thicker cover sheet. Typical mailing folds, minor age-related toning, otherwise fine, early and unusual.
