There is slight ink feathering to the “Nona” and “Wishes” and an ink smudge to “Grace”. Four tape remnants on verso from a previous mounting.
This was sold via a “Profiles in History” auction in 2012. (Hollywood Auction #49). Profiles in History was a prominent auction house, founded by Joseph Maddalena, specializing in rare historical documents and iconic Hollywood memorabilia. Profiles became part of Heritage Auctions in 2021.
We’re including the original auction invoice (see scan) that we obtained from the auction winner. Also included is the original “Profiles in History” Auction item tag (scan) and the original item description slip (scan).
The smudge was noted in the original auction description as, “Minor Smearing”. We’re pricing this at less than the original auction winner paid in 2012.
