Two 4 ½ x 5 ½ album pages, both marked on the lower edges, as being signed on March 29, 1941. These pages are signed by husband and wife actors, Allan Jones and Irene Hervey. Both are signed in black ink. Both have paper images adhered in the lower right corners.
Comes with an original 1936, 6 ½ x 7 (trimmed) publicity photo of the newlywed couple. Spanish language identifying info on verso.
Bio: The couple married in 1936 and divorced in 1957. They had one son together, the singer Jack Jones.
Allan Jones (October 14, 1907 – June 27, 1992) was an American actor and tenor. He is best remembered as the male romantic lead actor in the first two films the Marx Brothers starred in for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, A Night at the Opera (1935) and A Day at the Races (1937), as well as the film musicals Show Boat (1936) and The Firefly (1937).
Irene Hervey July 11, 1909 – December 20, 1998) was an American film, stage, and television actress who appeared in over fifty films and numerous television series spanning her five-decade career.
