Ryan, Bob (Robert) - Large Signed Album Page w Modern Still Photo
Large oversized, 5 ½ x 8 1950’s album page, commonly signed as “Bob Ryan”. Ryan has signed in vintage blue ink. Small print photo adhered to the page above his signature. Pencil original collectors’ notation in the upper right corner “21 Club”. This was the famous NYC former prohibition-era speakeasy / restaurant.
Signed on the verso by Jinx Falkenburg. She has signed in blue ink, using her full name “Jinx Falkenburg McCrary”. Small print photo adhered in the lower left corner. Pencil collectors’ notation in the upper left corner, “Sherry- Netherland”. This refers to the famous NYC “Sherry-Netherland” hotel which is located on 5th Ave overlooking Central Park.
Comes with a modern 8x10 print of a Robert Ryan still from the 1949 film, “Act of Violence” Very fine.
