Robert Taylor - July 27, (1961), one page TLS, which is a response to Adolph Zukor II. This TLS is on an 8 ½ x 11 sheet bearing Taylor’s letterhead.

The letter is in response to a Zukor-Forsher Productions offer for Taylor to appear on an upcoming 1961 TV show “It's Up to You”, a game show pilot featuring high school student members of the organization Junior Achievement, that would pitch their inventions to a real businessperson and a celebrity whose identities were hidden from them. Sounds like an early version of “Shark Tank”.

This show is listed as being an unsold pilot. Adolph Zukor II, partnered in the endeavor with Trude Forsher, who had previously been the personal secretary to Elvis Presley and his manager Colonel Tom Parker. This letter emanates from Mrs. Forsher's estate.

The letter cordially informs Zucker of Taylor's inability to participate. Signed by Robert Taylor in blue ink. Two horizontal mailing folds. Right edge storage fold. Two file punch holes to top of page. Slight toning.

Comes with an original 1960 Columbia Pictures 8x10 still photo from the film, “Killers of Kilimanjaro”. Fine with minor corner bends.
