June 24, 1945, personal check in the amount of $6.00 to a R.B. Martin. Signed by Gable in black ink. Bank circular perforated cancelation marks affecting the “C” of Clark. Small ½ inch tear at top middle edge of check. Tape remnants to all four edges from a previous mounting. Three faint vertical mailing folds. Endorsed on verso by R.B. Martin.
Comes with an original 1935 glossy 7x9 ½ (trimmed) photo from the film, “The Call of the Wild”. The photo is very fine with brown glue marks on verso from a previous mounting.
