Dressler, Marie - 1925 ALS - Excellent Content to a Fan
1925 - 8 x 11 (fully opened) stationery from New York’s “Ritz-Carlton” hotel, folded into a 4-panel handwritten letter by stage and screen legend, Marie Dressler. Marie writes to a fan,
“I am too grateful for your kind encouraging letter. If people in front only knew how we old timers appreciate / the kind thoughts of our public – I am indeed hoping my new venture will be all success as one cannot cope with the managers of Today. I’m / Ashamed to send you the only photo I have at present. As it does not look like me at all-, but it is the best I have- Again I thank you from / The Bottom of my heart I am believe me, Gratefully Marie Dressler Oct 30th 25”.
