Black fountain pen signature on a 2 x 3 ½ blue lined sheet which has been adhered to a 3 ½ x 5 album page. Gigli has dated his signature to 1951. “18th April 1951” has been noted, in blue ink, to the lower right of the blue sheet in another hand. Slight feathering at the end of Gigli’s signature.
Bio: Beniamino Gigli ( 20 March 1890 – 30 November 1957) was an Italian opera singer (lyric tenor). He is widely regarded as one of the greatest tenors of his generation.
