1942 - 7 ¼ x 8 ½, Typed Letter Signed TLS with original transmittal envelope – The letter is signed by Maurice Evans in black fountain pen and dated to April 21,1942. The letterhead is from the New York office of the stage production of “Macbeth”.
The play discussed in the letter, took place at the American Theatre in St. Louis, MO. Maurice Evans and Judith Anderson produced the play, which ran on Broadway from Nov 11, 1941, to Feb 28, 1942. After which they took the production on a cross-country tour. Fine with mailing folds and slight age toning.
