7 7/8 x 10 1/8 original 1951 MGM Theatrical still photo for the Jerome Kern - Oscar Hammerstein, Musical, “Show Boat”. Beautiful romantic close-up image, signed by both Ava Gardner (in black ink) and Howard Keel (in black felt tip).
Very minor age-related handling faults to the photo include, A small loss of emulsion spot above Ava’s head, another small loss of emulsion to the lower left corner. Two minor surface bends, including one on Keel’s jacket sleeve. Tape remnants to all four edges, visible on verso, from a previous mounting. I would still grade this as very fine and perfect for display.
