Cooper, Gary - 1953 - Two Page ALS To His Accountant, On Location - "Blowing Wild" w/ Photo
July 23, 1953 - 2 page ALS to Miss Smith (accountant) concerning checks and mail. Cooper also mentions the film, "Blowing Wild".
Written on two 5 1/4 x 7 1/4 one sided sheets of Hotel Lancaster Paris stationary. The Hotel Lancaster was Gary Cooper's Paris residence.
Coop was on location in Mexico at the time he penned this letter, filming "Blowing Wild".
Blowing Wild was one of the first major Hollywood films to be filmed on-location in Mexico.
He also filmed his next two movies, "Garden of Evil" and "Vera Cruz", on location in Mexico.
Uncommon in this form. Comes with the 8x10 promo still that is shown.

Dear Miss Smith
Just got checks and letter today. They were sent to Hotel George V instead of
Lancaster hence delay in receiving them.
I think its best to send all mail to the Lancaster to hold until my return to Paris.
Let “Answering” expire. Have slim ----- each once in awhile
I’ll try to find more movie bank statements. I spent nearly all the
money in the Mexican Bank.
Have a good vacation
And best regards
Gary Cooper
P.S. Also pay Slim $500.00
For Blowing Wild
